SES provides independent electrical and power systems expertise at any stage of a project. You may need to establish whether a concept is practical, resolve a design question or understand why an existing system is not operating as expected.
We agree the question to be answered, the information needed and the output you will receive. Consultancy can stand alone or lead into a separately agreed design or delivery package.

How an engagement works
Describe the problem, the stage of the project and the decision you need to make. We identify what information is available and whether a site visit is needed.
Set out the scope, deliverables, responsibilities and timescale before work begins. Any travel, additional investigation or later design work is addressed in that agreement.
Explain the conclusions, assumptions and next steps. Where further work is needed, you receive a clear basis for deciding how to proceed.
Confidential work
SES can support site owners, principal contractors and other engineering businesses under NDA. The role can be client-side advice, discreet subcontract consultancy or a defined technical package within a wider project.

Yes. Consultancy is available as a standalone service, with a defined scope, fee and deliverables. You can use the findings to make your own decisions about procurement and installation.
Yes. We can review proposals and existing systems, subject to access to the necessary information and any agreed site investigation. The scope will distinguish a document review from inspection, testing or a full redesign.
Yes. Confidentiality, access to project information and the intended use of deliverables can be agreed before work begins. SES can work directly for a site owner or within another engineering team.
